Pharmacy Services Manager – JOB DESCRIPTION


Are you a dynamic, driven pharmacy professional who is passionate about pharmacy services? Would you like to be involved in driving new pharmacy services across the patch maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and commissioners?

Community Pharmacy Halton St Helens and Knowsley is the Local Pharmaceutical Committee representing 100+ pharmacy contractors across the Halton, St Helens and Knowsley area and Community Pharmacy Cheshire and Wirral is the Local Pharmaceutical Committee representing circa 300 contractors across Cheshire East, Cheshire West and Chester, Warrington and Wirral.

Both organisations are seeking a Pharmacy Services Manager to further develop and lead the service agenda across their geographies and are jointly recruiting. This may be a single individual to cover both or could be separate individuals. They will be separate employments, however.

  • HSHK: This position will cover the three areas within the HSHK footprint and is a permanent role developing services and relationships over the longer term.
  • CPCW: This position will cover 2 of our localities primarily – Warrington and Wirral, however there will be potential work across the whole geography too. It is a permanent role developing services and relationships over the longer term.

Role summary

  • Based from home with travel across the HSHK and/or CPCW footprints. Some regional and national travel may be required.
  • Competitive salary dependent upon experience + auto-enrolled pension.

The LPCs are recruiting in tandem and have come together to create a full-time position (37 hours per week), with the successful candidate working 18.5 hours per week for HSHK LPC and 18.5 hours per week for CPCW. Individual employment options would also be explored if the right candidate for the right opportunity presents.
